Ironclad Rooster (sold)

December 6, 2017

What a proud rooster decked out as if in armour!

The tail comprises of wood drills and lawn mower blades.  The wings are two halves of a shovel head overlaid with two garden forks.  The neck plumage is tubing and pipe.  The head is created from shaped steel comb, washers and chain links.  The breast is an elevator chain, the legs are rebar and the claws are teeth from a rake head.  The lovely sheen is accomplished with several coats of Penetrol, which is a rust inhibiter and dries to a laquer like finish.  Altogether a rather imposing bird!
