Rain Moth

September 14, 2019

Why make a Rain Moth?  Our local art gallery, the Rain Moth Gallery is hosting an exhibition of Rain Moths this month.

Rain Moths are endemic to the town of Waikerie.  Indeed, the name Waikerie is an aboriginal name for a rain moth!  They are the size of a human hand.

The mounting block is from our property, adding authenticity to the display of the Rain Moth.  The mottling on the wings is achieved using an oxy-torch flame on the stainless steel.

  • Size
    17" high, 12" deep, 16" wide
  • Materials
    Stainless steel, wood block,
  • Price
    $245

Note: All prices are in Australia Dollars (AUD). Also items will vary slightly from what's displayed in the image because every piece is custom made and source materials will vary.
